The handlebar-mounted toggle switch allows on-the-fly transitions between loud and quiet modes.

The small chrome Actuator Motor, mounted to the right front frame tube, receives the signal from the handlebar switch and opens/shuts the Diverter Valves via heavy duty cables.

When the Diverter Valves are closed, the exhaust gases are routed through the Peacemakers' patent pending AeroBaffle, reducing the exhaust sound volume to a lower level.
When the Diverter Valves are opened, the exhaust gases flow through the straight pipe down the center of the muffler, resulting in increased exhaust sound volume and greater engine performance.

"SILVER BULLET" SLIP ON MUFFLERS FOR FLT DRESSER MODELS 1995/LATER - Samson

If you are looking to improve your power output and enhance your exhaust's sound, then a pair of these slip-on mufflers from Samson is a logical choice. To create the correct back pressure for the engine while maintaining a high exhaust flow rate, these mufflers feature an all steel, welded in power chamber/baffle system. This power chamber (shown below) collects the exhaust gases and then funnels them into the spiral louvered baffle. Unlike baffles with replaceable packing, the power chamber will never require replacement and will maintain the same exhaust note for years to come. The Silver Bullet mufflers have a tapered tail end and measure 29" in length, are 3" O.D. and include rear mounting hardware. Sold in pairs. Fits all Dresser models including FLHR 1995/Later.
