Do
you finance?
Sorry,
but no, we do not finance.
Will
you ship outside of the U.S.?
Sorry,
but we do not ship outside the U.S.A.
What
if I can't find what I'm looking for?
We
carry parts from most major suppliers, and several smaller companies.
If you don't see it,
or give us a call (417-468-2326). If you have any of
these catalogs, you can order anything in them: Custom Chrome,
Mid-USA, Biker's Choice, S&S, Midwest, Kustomwerks, Xtreme
Machine, Arlen Ness, Tucker Rocky, Deep Cut Rotors, Drag Specialties,
Dealer Leather, Mustang. Many of these also have online catalogs.
Make a list of the part #'s and give us a call on our toll free
order line: 1-866-889-7828. The more you buy, the more you save!
What
about shipping?
Most
parts have free shipping or shipping included in the price. If
there are any special trucking charges or refundable crate charges
(engines) they will be explained on the webpage.
The
complete kits are shipped by truck. The chassis kits are sent
by UPS or truck depending on supplier. Engines usually ship by
truck, while frames are usually shipped via UPS. Most books and
some small items will be sent via USPS Priority Mail. For all
orders except books, we need a street address, not a P.O. box.
Charges
are according to weight and where you live. On catalog orders,
we give free shipping for in-stock parts orders over $295.00
(in the continental U.S. only), excluding Special Order items.
Our
shipping and returns policies can be found here.

can I feel secure about sending you money?

What
do you mean by below retail?
We
usually offer discounts of 10% off the retail price list on catalog
orders over $100.00 (This refers to the prices in the retail
price lists that come with the catalogs. Our online prices are
already discounted.).
Can
I apply for a dealership? Do you sell Wholesale?
No.
Although we try to sell below retail whenever possible, we are
a "retail" dealer, not wholesale.
Do
you have such and such part for my Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki
or other foreign make bike?
No,
sorry.
Can
you match or beat the price of a competitor?
No.
Our prices are as posted. If we matched the prices of the "cheap
guys", we'd also have to match their customer support...
which is not much. (We get phone calls and email every day from
people who can not get help with an item they bought from a "cheap" source,
or who have waited for back ordered parts so long they have given
up. You get what you pay for.) We'd rather continue to help and
support our customers, which takes time and effort.
What
is meant by "rake" and "stretch" when looking
at frames?
Confused
about frame terminology? See tech tip #9. See tech tip
#10 for a rake and trail calculator. TECH
TIP PAGE
I
didn't get instructions with my part. Can you send me the instructions?
Most
aftermarket parts DO NOT come with instructions. Please refer
to your HD manual.
Do
your frames, engines, and transmissions come with MSO's?
All
of our Frames, Engines, and Transmissions come with serial numbers
and a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO). The MSO's are
usually sent about 30 days after the item has shipped. You will
receive the original copy, notarized, usually by priority mail,
signature required (for your protection). Please do not lose
these. There is a fee to replace a lost MSO.
What
about the EPA regulations on bike building?
The
EPA has recently admitted that it has no jurisdiction over
individuals. They can only regulate businesses. As
usual, you should always check with your local motor vehicle
regulations before starting a build, but the EPA regulations
will not effect you. THEY CANNOT STOP YOU FROM SELLING
YOUR BIKE, or regulate how many you build.
OUTSIDE
THE U.S.: To
get parts and bike kits you can actually register in your country,
you can look for European dealers with TUV approved products here: http://www.custom-chrome-europe.com/home_e.htm
