PERFORMANCE PISTON KITS FOR SPORTSTER - KB (Keith Black)
Evolution is the key word as these Keith Black Performance Piston Kits were spawned from this successful manufacturer's line of automotive pistons. Machined in the USA, these lightweight permanent mold cast pistons are manufactured from Hypereutectic 390 Alloy, contain 16-18% silicon, and are heat treated to T-6 specifications producing a stronger than stock piston. This special alloy keeps heat confined to the combustion chamber and reduces heat transfer to the piston itself. The result is a cooler running piston that can be fit to the bore tighter. Piston expansion is reduced by as much as 20% over conventional pistons. These tighter fitting pistons rock less, support the rings better, are more durable and retain compression better for maximum power. The key feature to these pistons is the accumulator groove between the top and second ring. This groove between the rings tends to average the normal pressure between the first and second ring, keeping the pressure low enough to prevent lifting of the top ring while maintaining preload on the second (oil scraping) ring. Each set of pistons include: wrist pins, spiral locks, engine assembly lube, and Hastings Moly rings. All wrist pins are .792" O.D. Sold in pairs. Machined in the U.S.A.

PISTON KITS FOR SPORTSTER - Wisco
All Wiseco pistons are forged from hi-silicon aluminum alloy for superior strength and dependability. The unique piston shape allows tight piston to wall clearances for quieter operation. This shape combined with a top quality ring package and computerized machined anti-detonation grooves offers you the most technically advanced piston kits available. Wiseco pistons are available with either Hastings X Style or Wiseco XC Style piston rings.
All piston kits listed are designed to be used with stock stroke flywheels only. Most Wiseco pistons are machined with valve pockets that are deeper and larger than stock. These pockets provide adequate valve clearance for most high lift cams, but as with any high performance upgrade all clearances must be checked.
All 883cc to 1200cc overbore and 84ci Big Bore kits do not require cylinder head modification or flywheel rebalancing unless deemed necessary by the service technician. The 84ci Big Bore kits require Big Bore cylinders and crankcases must be bored to accept the larger cylinders.

26 Tooth Pulleys
Stock Sportster/Buell transmission pulleys are made of cast iron in 27 and 29 tooth configurations. Replace your stock 27 tooth pulley with our 26 for an instant 4% increase in torque to the rear wheel. (The 28 tooth pulley has been discontinued.)
In addition to 4% more torque to the rear wheel, our pulleys are lighter and stronger than stock. Less weight translates to reduced "flywheel effect" and quicker revs. Weight comparison:
