5: You may order on-line, email your list of parts or fax us 24 hours, 7 days a week. Or give us a call Monday through Friday, 9-5 CST. Most orders are processed within 48 business hours (orders made during weekend will be processed on Monday). You will be notified by phone or email (let us know if you have a preference) if any parts requested are backordered. Please be certain to include a phone # and an e-mail address, if you have one. No items will be shipped out without a phone number. If you are requesting a tracking #, please be sure to include an email address.
Steel Thunder Custom Cycles accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, PayPal, cashier's checks, money orders and personal checks (checks or money orders will delay shipping until check clears). There is normally a $2,000.00 limit on credit card purchases (exceptions may be made on a case by case basis).. Larger purchases must be paid in cash (cash, check, or wire transfer. Credit Card issued checks will be accepted.) We do not accept credit cards from foreign countries (U.S.A. issued only.). This includes Puerto Rico. If you want to order from a foreign country please refer to our Foreign Orders Policy below.
Payment must be in U.S. dollars.
If payment is made by check or money order, please allow 2 weeks for your check to clear the bank before your order will be shipped.

Military Mail Orders - Military customers accept all responsibility for products that are shipped to military addresses. Since we can not insure some products to some military locations, the customer must accept the responsibility for lost and or damaged items shipped to any military address. We can ship smaller parts to APO & FPO addresses (extra charges apply), however larger, heavier parts cannot be mailed. Please write to confirm. CONTACT

If any Sales/Use tax is due to your state on any items purchased from our company, you the customer are responsible for reporting it and paying such Sales/Use tax. Steel Thunder Custom Cycles collects Sales/Use tax from all MISSOURI State residents only. MO state residents add 8.058% (Marshfield tax rate)
Most orders are shipped via UPS. Some smaller parts and books may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Some items may be subject to additional shipping charges or arrangements due to weight or size. Orders with oversized items will require a shipment quote prior to processing your order. Products are shipped F.O.B. (Freight On Board) and become the sole property of the purchaser upon delivery to the specified shipping agent. For shipping damage, customers should file claim to their carrier immediately. Any discrepancy, including wrong items or missing items, must be reported to Steel Thunder Custom Cycles within 24 hours after delivery. Foreign orders policy:
At this time we are shipping to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with a $250.00 minimum order. Please note that we cannot ship bike kits to Canada due to Canadian Customs regulations.
We DO ship to American Military APO & FPO addresses. Items must meet mailing requirements (weight & size restrictions apply).
All items, unless otherwise stated, are fully guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship and are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties. This warranty does not cover installation or service of product, conditions resulting from consumer mishandling; such as improper maintenance or misuse, abuse, accident or alteration; all plastic and metal surfaces and all other exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal use; products that have had the serial number removed or made illegible. Chrome cannot be guaranteed against bluing. Belts are not covered by warranty.
Most orders are processed within 24 working hours, and many are processed a short time after they are received. Once the item has been put on the truck, it cannot be cancelled. All "NON-SHIPPED" orders CANCELLED after 24 Hours of original order will be charged a 10% " CANCELLED ORDER FEE". This fee is for our time to delete the orders, submit any and all paper work to our shipping department, and shipping costs if the product is sent back to the manufacturer or supplier.
RETURNS – New Products
- All returns $1 - $1000 will be charged a 20% return fee** with a maximum charge of $100.00. Items over $1000 will be charged 10% with a maximum charge of $250.00.
- Items must be returned within 14 days for refund.
- Items returned after 14 days will be issued a store credit.
- No returns after 30 days.
- All items damaged or missing parts must be claimed within 24 hours of receipt (restocking fee does not apply).
- NO RETURNS on electrical items, engines, frames, gear sets, exhaust systems, handlebars, seats, tires, transmissions, bike kits, rolling chassis kits, and any special order parts (Part numbers starting with DS or DRDS or 06 indicate Special order items; also parts not on website). Parts that have been put on bike are not returnable. Parts must be in ORIGINAL PACKAGING in sellable condition. Defective or wrong parts (due to an error on our part) can be returned for EXCHANGE.
- We sell CUSTOM PARTS - it is up to you to be sure it is what you want and that it will fit your application BEFORE PURCHASING.
- Customer must call for return authorization number prior to returning item. See Return conditions below. ALL RETURNS MUST BE MADE TO STEEL THUNDER CUSTOM CYCLES at: 3418 Teagues Road, Marshfield, MO 65706. Please do not return to the warehouse address or you may not be credited properly.
**A NOTE ON WHY WE MUST CHARGE RESTOCKING FEES: We are not a mail order outlet. We are a small bike shop offering customers mail order services. When you return a part, we then have to ship the part back to our supplier and pay them a restocking fee. We only charge you what it costs us (and we still often loose money in shipping costs). We must do this to stay in business. If you do not want to pay a return fee, please be sure you want an item before ordering, and carefully read the parts description to see that it will fit your application. (Most companies do charge a return/restock fee.)
IF YOU PURCHASE, THEN YOU HAVE AGREED TO THESE TERMS.
RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE IN ORIGINAL BOXES, UNOPENED, UNTOUCHED. We will only accept a return if returned in original parts box or display package that you received it in with no tears or broken seals. DO NOT WRITE on any parts packing boxes. Any parts or parts boxes returned with writing on them may be refused or returned, as we can not sell a part as new if you have written all over the box. DO NOT cut open any packaging. Listed products (items that have listed prices on our web page) may be returned within 30 days of your receiving them (the products must be brand new, in perfect condition, a perfect box and never used). In order to keep our prices lowest, we DO CHARGE a RETURN FEE (See above) and, of course, we cannot refund shipping & handling charges. Returning used products, of course, cannot be allowed. Please contact us if you wish to return products (must be brand new, in perfect condition, a perfect box and never used), and we will give you an "RGA" number and instructions on how and where to ship. Non-listed products (items that do not have prices listed on our web page and that you received a special quote on) may not be returned as we consider them special order items.
Shopping by mail-order has many good points (low prices, shipped right to your door, less hassles because no waiting in line, etc) and a few less positive ones such as; you can't physically see (or touch) the products, it takes a few days to get to you as well as if you return it, it isn't easy or convenient (for you or us) when you need to return something. If you aren't certain that you want a product, or aren't sure that what you are about to order is exactly what you want; please do not order it from us. Also - we repeat - merchandise may not be returned more than 30 days after purchase and shipping/handling charges are not refundable.
There will be no refunds on special order items (ie: Parts with numbers starting with DR, DS, 06, Xtreme Machine wheels, trailers, kits, etc. - see list above).
RETURNS – Used Products – Sold AS IS, NO RETURN
All product prices as marked by Steel Thunder Custom Cycles, on all web page's used by Steel Thunder Custom Cycles, located at 3418 Teagues Road , Marshfield, MO 65706 are priced, " less shipping costs “ unless otherwise stated. Shipping will be included on your final invoice. (You will note that most items include shipping in the price or have free shipping. Possible exceptions include engines, rolling chassis kits, special order items.)
PARTS " DOT" SAFETY APPROVAL RATING
Many of the parts that we sell are for " SHOW ONLY " purposes. They are not and were not intended for " ON ROAD USE". This may be referred to as a DOT " Department of Transportation", safety requirement. Please contact your local Mechanic or DOT inspection station before using any parts on any Government or Person Roadways. Please read our liability statement on this page also. We sell parts only and offer no legal advice about any parts use purchased through Steel Thunder Custom Cycles.

Any and all Local, State, County, Federal or Legal Representatives Employed by any Government Agency or Any Other Party, Person or Company must immediately advise Steel Thunder Custom Cycles of who they are prior to requesting any information from Steel Thunder Custom Cycles. This clause does not exclude any other clauses located on this page.

Steel Thunder Custom Cycles' liability shall be limited to the replacement of the original part(s) purchased from Steel Thunder Custom Cycles or the reimbursement of part(s) purchased from Steel Thunder Custom Cycles. Steel Thunder Custom Cycles shall not be held liable for any labor, paint, or any other damage(s) resulting from any part(s) sold by Steel Thunder Custom Cycles. Steel Thunder Custom Cycles shall not be held liable for any damages of any kind for any of the products that are sold by Steel Thunder Custom Cycles other than stated above. The manufacturers of any product sold by Steel Thunder Custom Cycles shall be the sole party responsible for their product(s). Any purchased item(s) from Steel Thunder Custom Cycles should be installed by a " Certified Mechanic " and inspected for safety after installation by a " Certified Mechanic ". Any person(s) that install any part(s) purchased from Steel Thunder Custom Cycles shall be solely responsible for ensuring the proper and safe installation of those parts. BE ADVISED THAT IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL PARTS PURCHASED FROM STEEL THUNDER CUSTOM CYCLES ARE INSTALLED IN A SAFE MANNER INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CLEARANCES, LEAKAGE, AND ANY OTHER SAFETY MATTERS.
NOTE: Failure to install purchased parts properly may result in " SEVERE " damage, including but not limited to, death, personal injury and (or) property damage.
NOTE: Failure to "mock up" or pre-install items before painting, chroming or powder coating can result in the damage of paint, chrome, or powder coating and is NOT our responsibility. Please use care in making sure parts fit before finishing.
